I'm not just fluent in both languages, though—knowing English and Spanish isn't enough. I'm also a language professional.
For 16 years, I've been an editor, proofreader, translator, and interpreter. First for my previous freelance editing business, Pure Text (primarly fiction and business and substantive, aka deeper editing than I offer here), and then as a Spanish-English medical interpreter and translator for clinics and hospitals across New England, USA.
This means I deliver not only translated copy, but a high-quality translation that is mindful of grammar, syntax, spelling, and more.

I have real-world knowledge of English from all over the world from working with my previous editing clients, who were from the US, UK, and Australia, among other places.
